Featuring a Music Loft Select Redwood Burl X-Top over a beautiful Black Limba body with a Wenge contrast layer between, a Roasted Ash neck adorned with a nicely figured Macassar Ebony fretboard featuring a Redwood 12th fret "D" inlay and headstock "D" inlay, this bass is flaunting all the woody goodness. On this build, we took the opportunity to pair the new Rupert Neve Designs preamp Dingwall has started offering with Dingwall's FDV pickups. This combination of electronics provides a vast array of tones from bright and modern to warm and mellow. The Neve preamp also incorporates a passive tone control for even more tonal options, and the mini toggles for selecting series/parallel per pickup expands those tonal options to a different dimension!
