Behold the power and glory of this amazing Dingwall Custom Z3 5-String! This bass was custom-built for our resident wood librarian and custom build guru, but we just had to show it off for the world to see. First things first - this bass features a custom color developed by our custom build guru, which has been named "Rotten Orange". This bass features a Music Loft Select Maple Burl X-Top, Wenge Contrast Layer, Dual-Density Swamp Ash body finished in a Trans White Ceruse with black grain fill finish. The neck of this bass is Roasted Ash and is topped with a Macassar Ebony fretboard which is adorned with matching Maple Burl block inlays. This bass also features a matching headstock which is loaded with Hipshot/Dingwall Ultra Lite tuners and a Hipshot Extender Key for quick detuning. The bass itself is loaded with Dingwall's Super Fatty II pickups and the all-new Neve 2-band preamp with mini toggles and a passive tone control.
