Here is, quite possibly, the best looking Dingwall we've ever had come through our shop - and that's saying a lot, especially if you are aware of the level of builds we are known for. A couple of years ago, Dingwall had contacted us with just a couple of absolutely jaw-dropping Poplar Burl tops - a rarity at Dingwall - and they knew we were the shop to take those tops and do them justice! Well, needless to say, this bass has exceeded our expectations. The crew at Dingwall nailed the custom color we are going for, which we have dubbed "Explosion Burst". The Poplar Burl X-Top sits atop a Flame Maple contrast layer, beautifully picture framing this top against the Dual Density Swamp Ash body finished in Trans Black Ceruse with White Grain Fill. The jaw-dropping doesn't stop there. This bass is outfitted with a Wenge Neck, adorned with a highly-figured Macassar Ebony fretboard that is decorated with White Pearloid Ghost Block inlays and Green Luminlay Side Dots. The matching headstock really pops as well with tons of figuring and rich coloration. This bass is loaded with Dingwall's FDV pickups, a Darkglass Tone Capsule preamp wired for 18-volts, and 3x mini toggles for series/parallel switching per pickup. The final touch on this bass is the inclusion of Dunlop Flush Mount Strap Locks, with a 3rd flush mount location for proper balancing depending on the player's preference. This bass is unparalleled in looks and playability. Whomever is lucky enough to snag this one will have the bass of a lifetime!
