*NOTE: This bass was displayed at the 2024 NAMM show. There are a couple of very small and minor imperfections on the bottom side of the bass where it would rest on your leg in a seated position. The pricing of this bass reflects a discount extended to us from Mayones to cover the minimal wear present from it's overwhelming attention received at NAMM. If you have any questions, please ask. Otherwise, these imperfections are captured in the last 2 photos.

 

The masterful builders at the Mayones Custom Shop in Gdansk, Poland always deliver with exceptional attention-to-detail, coupled with some of the most premium woods available in the world - and this Jabba Custom EP 5-String is a fantastic showing representative of the high-level of craftsmanship and attention to tone that Mayones has become known for worldwide. Boasting an exceptional Master Grade Eye Poplar top in Lava Burst RAW, this finish technique leaves the inclusions in the wood in-tact - making for a very unique and very pleasing texture to the finish. This continues to the matching headstock. The 1pc Maple TEW (Tonally Enhanced Wood - their naming for "roasted") neck features 1ply white binding around the Master Grade Birdseye Maple TEW fretboard. Adorned with White Pearloid block inlays and Black Pearloid side dots, this bass is both classic and modern, simultaneously. This bass is loaded with Mayones' new Velvetrone Gallant 5 pickups, which provide everything from a warm and smooth sound to a punchy and forward tone, giving a vast range of tonal possibilities in one bass. This bass also features the new Mayones Musashi Nitoryu 3-band preamp and headphone system, which allows the player to connect headphones directly to the bass to enjoy practicing with a speaker-simulated output that sounds rich and clear. There is also an Aux In input to allow the player to play along with the music of their choice, making for an exceptional practice platform allowing the player to practice and jam along with tracks anywhere they are!
