CloseThe flagship REVV Dynamis D40 provides guitarists with authentic cranked vintage amp tones with practical modern updates. Dynamis are the amplifiers that years ago introduced REVV to Nashville’s hottest session stars & now the amps have been redesigned from the ground up to provide the truest vintage modern amp experience available. The D40 packages a greatest hits of legendary 6L6 & EL34 tones into one amp with creamy gain & touch-sensitive cleans that transport you straight into your favorite albums. Two-notes Torpedo-embedded reactive load & DynIRs mean you can play, perform, & record anywhere without a cabinet - all without loads of extra switches that would get in the way of your playing.

Both the Clean & Overdrive channels are designed for rich midrange & an open tone that responds to your playing. Boost pushes musical harmonics & Bright powerfully sculpts treble. We prioritize usable tones throughout the full sweep of the knobs. We like to call our tone 'Canadian' because we want it to encompass the best of American & British sounds, but with our own clarity-focused voice.
We took designing a new flagship Dynamis seriously. Originally created by making 'not-metal' versions of our amps for Nashville players who fell in love with Revv's tone 10 years ago, this fresh take combines lessons we've learned since then with a new simple control layout & tonal influences from the 60+ years of iconic & rare 'oldschool' amps we've been lucky to get our hands on.
Two master volumes & a transparent buffered FX loop make life easier while retaining the 'classic amp' playing experience. Despite a focus on getting squeaky cleans to soaring lead tones exclusively from the amp like the good old days, both channels were fine-tuned to work with a wide variety of pedals, & the D40 also has a tweaked take on our reverb with a Decay control.
We call the D40 'your new old friend' because we made it just for you. Players who like classic amp tone & workflow are usually stuck playing amps without modern conveniences, but they also don't want 6 channels or menu-diving. That's why the D40 is laid out like a classic amp but if you want a little extra, the direct out, master volumes, & programmability are there waiting for you.
