This stunning Spector USA NS-2 just landed, and we couldn't be happier with how this build turned out! Featuring a Music Loft Select Maple Burl top over a chambered Maple body, this bass is finished in a color we are naming Chevron Fire Burst. When we selected this gorgeous top, we noticed a chevron-like pattern in the grain where the burl transitioned to big wide flame. To accentuate this grain, we worked with the guys at Spector USA to come up with this finish, and they took our idea and knocked it out of the park! This bass also features a Music Loft Select Pale Moon Ebony fretboard that is loaded with streaking and insanely good figure. The 3pc Maple neck features an Ebony headstock overlay with a Quilted Maple truss rod cover that is stained to match and finished in gloss to match the body. On the back, the neck features a gradient fade incorporating all of the colors from the top of the instrument and is finished in a matte finish for a smooth and effortless playing experience, while the body and headstock are gloss. Loaded with EMG PX/JX pickups and the famous HAZ 9-volt preamp, this bass embodies the classic Spector tone and growl but with a modern aesthetic courtesy of the custom color and Music Loft Select woods.
